Delete your Zeteo app data
Use this page to ask us to delete the personal data the Zeteo app holds about you. You do
not need to be signed in. We use the email address you give us to find your records, so
use the one you sign in with.
What we delete
- Your support conversations with us: tickets, messages and internal notes tied to your email address.
- Your in-app profile details, if you saved any (display name, contact email, address).
- Records that link your email address to an in-app purchase or complimentary access.
- Records of the times you upgraded to a paid subscription through the app.
What we keep, and why
- Payment and transaction records we must keep for accounting, tax and legal reasons. These use hashed identifiers instead of your email.
- Aggregated usage statistics. They use a device identifier that changes every day and contain no email address, so they cannot be tied back to you.
- Push notification registrations. These are stored against your phone, not your email, so we cannot find them from this request. Turn off notifications in your phone settings or uninstall the app to stop them.
- A short record of this request itself, so we can show we handled it.
How long it takes
We act within 30 days of your request and email you when it is done. We may reply
first if we need to confirm it is you.
This does not close your Substack account or cancel a subscription.
Your Zeteo sign-in is a Substack account, and Substack manages it and any
subscription bought on Substack.
Substack's help centre (search “delete account”).
Subscriptions bought in the app belong to Apple or Google and must be cancelled in the
store:
App Store subscriptions
or
Google Play subscriptions.
Deleting your app data does not cancel a subscription or give you a refund.
Delete data on your phone
Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on your device, including your session
and any offline downloads. You can also sign out from Settings in the app.
